State Nuclear Baoti Zirconium Industry Company (hereafter as SNZ) was established on November 26, 2007. It was co-invested by the State Nuclear Power Technology Corporation Ltd.（hereafter as SNPTC）and Baoti Group, under the direct leadership of SNPTC. The shareholders of SNZ are SNPTC, Baoti Group and Bridge Trust , with a register capital of RMB 2.6 billion.

SNZ , a specialized company with R&D and manufacture of zirconium products, has the first complete nuclear grade zirconium production line in China, which is also the only domestic licensee in China for the whole manufacturing technology of AP1000 nuclear grade zirconium materials from Westinghouse Electric Company.

SNZ’s facility is located in Baoji, Shaanxi Province, except that zirconium sponge production line in Nantong, Jiangsu Province. The production system consists of zirconium sponge production,

zirconium alloy ingot melting, billet preparation, tubing, bar, plate & strip production and recycle material processing, with capacity of 2000 tons sponges, 2000 tons alloy ingots, 300 tons plates and strips, 1000 tons tubes and bars, to meet the demand of zirconium product for 100 million-kilowatt level nuclear power units and petrochemical industry.
